Where to find it

Open Blogs in the template selector and choose the blog whose listing you want to preview.

Set it up

1. Create and publish articles in the intended blog, including featured images and excerpts where useful.
2. Choose Grid or Collage and set Posts per page and Image ratio.
3. Choose which metadata and excerpt elements display, and set the read-article label.
4. Enable Show tag filter only when you use useful article tags. Add Blog category blocks to link selected blogs.
5. Check the listing, a tag-filtered view, pagination and a linked article.

Main settings to review

Blocks and content

• Blog category: configure this inside the section. Its available controls are listed below.

Content and media

• Cards use article featured images. Keep their crops consistent with the selected ratio; around 1200–1600 px is a useful starting point for listing images.

Check the mobile layout

• Review long titles, excerpts, category links and pagination on a phone. Use a manageable page size rather than making visitors scroll through every article at once.

Common questions and fixes

• An article is absent: check its blog, publication and active page/tag filter.
• Tag links are unhelpful: tidy article tags in Shopify or turn off the tag filter.
