Section tutorials

Rich text

Compose an editable text-focused area from headings, rich text, links, buttons and optional media.

Where to find it

In Online Store → Themes, open the unpublished theme editor, choose a compatible template, then Add section → Rich text. Availability follows the selected template and section group.

This section is not available in the Header group.

Set it up

  1. Add Heading, Text or Rich text blocks for the message, then arrange them in reading order.
  2. Choose a heading level that fits the page; most supporting sections belong below the page's main H1.
  3. Add Button or Link blocks with clear labels and destinations. Image and Icon blocks can support the message.
  4. Set Content width, Gap between blocks and Section spacing, then review alignment on the child blocks.

Blocks and content

The following content blocks have their own setup and control reference. Nested blocks belong inside their parent, such as Slide, Tab, Tile or Story chapter.

App content requires a compatible installed app. Its setup and support come from that app; the theme does not supply the app service.

Content and media

  • Images are optional child blocks. Keep important messages as editable text and supply image alt text.

Check the mobile layout

  • Check heading wrapping and paragraph length at phone width. Narrower content and a short call to action usually read more comfortably.

Common questions and fixes

  • The section has space but no text: add content blocks inside it.
  • A button is missing: check its label and link in the Button block.

Full control reference

Names, choices, ranges and defaults below are read from this version of the theme. Defaults are starting examples, not promises about your business. Some controls appear only for the matching layout. Block contents and preset starting values can differ from the base defaults.
