Section tutorials

Spacer

Add a deliberate amount of empty space between neighboring content areas.

Where to find it

In Online Store → Themes, open the unpublished theme editor, choose a compatible template, then Add section → Spacer. Availability follows the selected template and section group.

Set it up

  1. Place Spacer where a visual pause is needed.
  2. Set Desktop height and Mobile height independently.
  3. Review the result together with the padding on the sections above and below; avoid stacking several spacing controls for the same gap.

Main settings to review

SettingChoices or control
Desktop height0–200 px; step 4
Mobile height0–120 px; step 4

Content and media

  • No media is needed. Use a real spacing control rather than a blank image.

Check the mobile layout

  • Use a smaller Mobile height when a large desktop pause would make the phone page unnecessarily long.

Common questions and fixes

  • There is too much empty space: review the spacer height and adjacent section padding.
  • The spacer is invisible: this module intentionally has no visible content unless a background is supplied.

Full control reference

Names, choices, ranges and defaults below are read from this version of the theme. Defaults are starting examples, not promises about your business. Some controls appear only for the matching layout. Block contents and preset starting values can differ from the base defaults.
