Cart drawer

Where to find it

Open Overlay group → Cart drawer. Its appearance and feature switches are primarily in Theme settings → Cart.

Set it up

Choose Empty cart image in the Cart drawer section if you want a specific empty-state illustration.
In Theme settings → Cart, set drawer width, side, overlay, product image ratio and fit.
Choose whether the drawer shows discount code, order note, View cart and recommendations; select recommended products when using that setting.
Review free-shipping progress only against the actual shipping configuration.
Open the drawer from a product card and the Header, then test quantity updates, close controls, empty state and checkout access.
Review public line-item properties such as gift-card recipient details or custom notes, and unit prices where configured. Private properties beginning with an underscore remain hidden.

Content and media

The empty-state image is independent from product-card images. Use a clean illustration with a crop suitable for the drawer.

Check the mobile layout

Review the full drawer height and the bottom checkout controls on a phone. Test opening it while fixed navigation is visible.

Common questions and fixes

Changing the main Cart section has no effect here: use Theme settings → Cart and Overlay group → Cart drawer.
Recommendations do not match your plan: review the recommendation switch and selected products.
A shipping message is misleading: correct its threshold, wording and market settings.

Full control reference

Names, choices, ranges and defaults below are read from this version of the theme. Defaults are starting examples, not promises about your business. Some controls appear only for the matching layout. Block contents and preset starting values can differ from the base defaults.
