Where to find it
In Online Store → Themes, open the unpublished theme editor, choose a compatible template, then Add section → Custom Liquid. Availability follows the selected template and section group.
Set it up
- Work in an unpublished theme copy and add Custom Liquid where the content belongs.
- Enter the code you intend to maintain in Custom Liquid. Page-specific resources are only available where the selected template supplies them.
- Choose section width, color scheme and top/bottom spacing around the custom output.
- Preview the output on its intended page and device sizes before saving. Keep a separate copy of your custom code for future updates.

Content and media
- This section does not provide an image picker for the custom output. Any media inside that output is managed by the code you supply.
Check the mobile layout
- Custom markup needs its own responsive layout. Check long text, embeds and fixed widths rather than assuming the section wrapper makes them responsive.
Common questions and fixes
- No output appears: check the code and whether its required page resource exists in this template.
- The page becomes too wide: inspect fixed widths or embedded content in the supplied markup.
