Where to find it
In Online Store → Themes, open the unpublished theme editor, choose a compatible template, then Add section → UGC gallery or Social gallery. Availability follows the selected template and section group.
This section is not available in the Header group, the Overlay group.
Set it up
- Add UGC gallery or Social gallery; these presets share the same section and controls.
- Add a UGC post for each permitted item and choose Image, Shopify-hosted video or YouTube or Vimeo. Fill the matching media field.
- Provide creator details, the original-post link and a caption; choose the correct platform or enter its custom name.
- Add rating, review heading, verification and featured product only when supported by the actual content.
- Choose layout, media ratio and caption position, then configure the mobile presentation and video playback.

Blocks and content
This section allows up to 16 direct blocks. Nested blocks have their own parent-specific choices and limits.
- UGC post: configure this inside the section. Its available controls are listed below.
Content and media
- Use media you are permitted to republish and preserve clear attribution. Provide a cover for video where appropriate.
- The section is manually curated; creator names, ratings and verification labels are supplied by the merchant, not checked automatically.
Check the mobile layout
- Choose Stack or Horizontal scroll and check readable captions, creator details and product links on every card.
Common questions and fixes
- A video is blank: match Media to the uploaded video or external Video URL field.
- A linked product does not show: select the product in the post and enable the section's product display option.
- New social content is not appearing: add posts manually; no feed synchronization is included.
