Where to find it
In Online Store → Themes, open the unpublished theme editor, choose a compatible template, then Add section → TikTok. Availability follows the selected template and section group.
This section is not available in the Header group, the Overlay group.
Set it up
- Configure the TikTok profile URL in Theme settings → Social media and set the profile image, account handle and heading.
- Add TikTok post blocks and choose Image or Shopify-hosted video for each.
- Supply the selected media, caption and TikTok post link. An external post URL is a destination, not an automatic video import.
- Choose layout, media ratio, caption/overlay display and video playback. Configure carousel autoplay separately.
- Review the mobile grid or horizontal row and open the original-post links.

This section allows up to 18 direct blocks. Nested blocks have their own parent-specific choices and limits.
- TikTok post: configure this inside the section. Its available controls are listed below.
Content and media
- Use your own or permitted video files. Vertical (9:16) is available for portrait-oriented posts, along with the other listed ratios.
- This section does not automatically synchronize a TikTok account.
Check the mobile layout
- Check video play controls separately from post links and avoid making essential captions dependent on hover.
Common questions and fixes
- A TikTok link does not display a video automatically: upload or select the hosted video in its media field.
- The Follow button has no destination: check the global TikTok profile URL.
