Where to find it
Open the Password template and select Password. Actual storefront password protection is configured in Shopify, separately from this visual layout.
Set it up
- Set the global brand logo under Theme settings → Brand; the password layout uses this identity or the store name fallback.
- Write Brand tagline, Heading and Text for the launch message.
- Choose Background image and optional Mobile background image, then adjust the overlay and content alignment.
- Choose whether to show newsletter signup and social icons. Social links come from the global social settings.
- Preview newsletter validation and the password-entry disclosure. Plan actual signup/password testing with the store owner separately.

Content and media
- Use a wide desktop background around 2000–2400 px and a mobile crop that leaves the content readable. The password layout is separate from the normal Header/Footer.
Check the mobile layout
- Review the launch heading, signup input, password entry, social links and lower copyright text without relying on the desktop crop.
Common questions and fixes
- The store is still accessible publicly: visual page settings do not enable password protection.
- Social icons are missing: configure their profile URLs and enable Show social media icons.
- Your regular Footer does not appear: the password page intentionally uses a separate layout.
